With just another 10 hours of effort, things are really cleaning up nicely. I took my friend’s advice and decided to pull out some of the thatched grass from the “what do I do with all this” pile and created a bit of a lawn where the slate path is going to go.

Nice? Maybe. I don’t know. I have harvested all the good soil I can get from behind the garden. The rest of what’s there is schwag dirt. So I need to get more soil today sometime. My day laborers have a half day so they will come in handy.
I believe I will use chicken wire to create the compost area on the left there.
Project status: Never ending.
If you just drink more, the entire yard would appear to be a brown & green blur.
I would have to provide all the neighbors with booze though. And I don’t share well.
